Warm Greetings,
I am the grandmother of Achiya, a young, sweet boy, 3.7 years old. He is currently having lessons with Mrs. Maya Litman in Meitar. She is both a Feldenkrais practitioner and a Child’Space practitioner. Achiya has been working with her for the past year and three months.
Achiya has hearing loss in one ear and developmental delays that manifest in every sphere of his life, both physical and emotional.
Along with the lessons he receives from Maya, Maya’s husband, Dr. Mordechai (Mel) Litman has, more recently, also entered the picture. He added a medical plan, after having spent time with Achiya getting to know him and understand his needs. Dr. Litman opened our minds to new ways of understanding. He gave us specific blood tests for Achiya to have done, and then, based on the results of the tests and based on his observations of the child, he prepared a unique treatment plan. The plan consists of vitamins and minerals that are necessary to both deal with his deficiencies, as well as for healing purposes.
We have seen wonderful results and excellent progress with the combination of the Feldenkrais sessions with Dr. Litman’s medical plan! Lately, we have also added special B12 shots to Achiya’s plan that have helped support speech development.
Achiya has progressed a lot in the area of motor development. He is also far less afraid to move, ie, be physically active. He is more relaxed, more open to try new things, more communicative, and has increased self-confidence.
Naturally, we are very pleased with his progress, and recommend the combination treatment plan at the Litmans!
